First day of work, 16th worked from midnight 0000 to 0730am. Take train back, skip lecture and sleep for 2 hours. With messages and phone call coming disturbing my sleep… wake up bath, take a cab back to school to take math quiz then back to working mode. Head back to orchard.
17th, with the company of the threesome, fel, cs, cs’s friend, Mr Penguin and his gay boyfriend, Gary, work has been fun and I had plenty of laughter!
It was actually from 2-6pm but they change the timing to 4-9 instead. I think quite a number of people last minute cannot make it therefore they call back to ask us to recruit more people=)
Junan has been behaving well for work which was a relieve=P His friends also came along to earn the extra cash too.
Starting from shifting the luggage, putting on the tags, inserting notebooks blaa blaa blaa then had dinner at about 1835 to 174 therefore we walked out of Shangri-la for about 15 minutes and decide to have mac.
Cs and his friends ordered two set of meal each! We were all laughing because it goes something like this:
Penguin/gary: wow! You order so much arh?
Cs/friend: Ya, hungry *smile (something like that)
Penguin/gary: Erh… you later want to work until what time?
Us: *Laughter fills the air =D
Thanks to gen and penguin who assume that the other way is the short cut back, we took about 20-25 minutes walking back to shang! OMG! We just keep walking and walking and got lost-_-“But in fact, we had walked one big round!!! When we reach back, we are all sweating. Making me think that all the food digested plus the energy use is all wasted.
Then back to shifting boxes, arranging them in rows and inserting more notebooks, cds,pen....after all is done, we happily seal the boxes thinking all is done because it is nearly 9pm.
Last minutes, they told us that they had just been inform that they need to insert a piece of paper in the notebook plus cushion cover to be insert onto the cushion plus inserting more notebooks, cds and cards to insert to the lanyard. Meaning more work to be done!

They say that they will adjust our pay since we will be working till midnight plus cab fare they absorb! How nice right! Making us more willing to stay for OT=P But there is some who cannot make it therefore left us and junan+friends and 4 St.nic girls. (Actually there are about 25 people, left 17)
Therefore we got to take out the notebooks from EVERY BAG again, slot in the paper and pack them back-_-“
Quite tiring actually, but it is also quite a relax job! Don’t have to use much of our brain juice. Plus we get to talk, crap and work together at the same time! It is hard to find this kind of lobang. Bg still say everything got job from me makes her feel over paid=) Do I mention that at first gen cannot make it, she changed her mind, skipping lessons and all. Not forgetting our company too! See! Money really makes the world go round! Haa~~
