Mad love and hate for TOKYO!

Love

Shopping was awesome to the max. Imagine summer sales from 30 – 50%. How cool is that! Cherry on the topping, factory outlet.
Service attitude thumbs up.
Food and snacks. Imagine Kit Kat with wasabi, soy sauce and cheesecake flavour. What a thrill!
Dogs here are so discipline. They allow pets on board the public transport. All tamed and they all got Hachiko spirit!
Place is umber clean.
Vending machines exist for a good result.

Hate

Subway and train is far more complicated that can make me go ding dong.
It’s so freaking hard to find a trash bin. Very inconvenient I must say.
The crowd in the morning and after working hours is a killer.
All the walking has made my legs really sore, nothing compared to Beijing but almost on par.

Life isn’t always the way you want it to be but there are always surprises in every turn we make. I am thankful that I am looking forward to it ;)

Yet another year has passed by like the wind that fades away.

Life has been good to me. I had met great people and companions who help me in one way or another. Yup, no doubt it’s time to get wiser, more mature and swifter in making decision and personal stand.

Birthday was well spent with love and I thank them for participating in my life with wholesome 10 years and having no doubt there is many many more to come!

Yes stef I agree with you, a bus-stop length of exercise! I never knew otl can run so fast! We chase the bus like a batch of crazy people. I just couldn’t catch my breath and stop laughing at pw nonsense while running like mad. Totally lost the strength and urge to run. I bet bg feel the same! I am quite sure the driver saw us but still decided to give us a miss. Damn it!

I am so excited to receive a Polaroid camera from bg and gen and thanks gals for the awesome present that I have no doubt its cheap. I was checking it out for the past week trying to get it at the lowest price possible that I can find online. Must be telepathy!!!

Not forgetting stef and otl! Thanks for the present. I should start recording my expenditure=)

After dinner, we went to slack at downtown east Mac to cut up pw’s “master piece”. Mh came to join us and chat till 3am in the morning. It’s always revolving around the same topic but it’s becoming more surreal.

Next day, met up with jy! Done quite a lot of catching up and thanks for the voucher!

I had said it once or perhaps twice. And I am beginning to get sick of it.

I think it’s time to have better judgement for individual character.

Maybe it’s your insecure. You have no idea how it pisses everyone. For what I know everyone wants to help you. But it’s almost impossible since you want it everything your own way.

For all the stuff that you have done, yes, I can be forgiving but I won’t forget.

Had a mini celebration for bg and sad to say I had no pictures to show except for the ramen we ate for dinner.

Guess who we saw!! Miss Liew, Lynette Liew!!! Gosh~~~ She looks the same and according to gen she smells the same too... *faint.

The whole scenario was so hilarious. It was bg who saw her first and needed confirmation whether it’s her a not, she quickly grab my hand and say “I think I saw Ms Liew!” I quickly say “which one?!” And I went over to tap on her shoulder. (Way no I walked over like a mouse!)

We chat and exchange number. She is now currently backed to teaching. God bless her, kids now days are like little demons.

I think I need to go find temp job to kill time... money~ please fall from the sky!

Oh my gosh! It’s the longest I let this space inactive. I felt that I had been rupture apart with the never ending projects and it ended with much drama I guess. Rushing portfolio which I deemed will not success but at least I tried=)

No time to waste and off I go the following week to Taiwan with earthquake as a bonus and blustery weather that is extremely cold at Taipei which can be compare to when I was in Beijing.

I am so in love with their 7eleven, the prices are the same as their supermarkets. Unlike Singapore, just because its 24hours they sell it more expensive.

They have their celebrities on their product!

I had so much stuff left undone, I am going into depression.

Last year was bad. Love ones of friends’ and mine passed away and it seems like I couldn’t focus most of the time. I keep wishing for time to pass faster, for project to end.

But then again, meet up with friends who I had grow up with makes my heart warm. With people who care and are concern about your next stage of life.

It’s nice that people have been giving me pointers and direction to what I want to be and what I yearn to be.

But I do have big dreams for this year and I am willing to catch them and hang on to it. I pray for being more ambitious. I know when you dream big you get big.

Hkg trip was pretty awesome, though they aren’t anything much for the shopping part but I bought back bagful of titbits which I really had a hard time hand carry back home. I seriously need to do some damage control. The money descend faster than the plane’s landing =(

Ocean Park was pack of fun, combination of theme park, zoo cum Bird Park. The pictures taken there definitely dominate the whole trip there. Food wise... thumbs up for the desserts. Failed to try the smelly toufu, was a disappointment. Check out my facebook for more photos.

This is one of my best buy which I always presume and friends not, BUT I can assure you it’s not nonsense stuff and it’s really cool. Unlike any product for example the jelly lenses which give unobvious result, this one is clear and not blurry. Cool right!

It’s always ironic when it comes to school. During IAP, I wish to get back to school soon to have fun, gossip and talk nonsense whenever and wherever I want as compared to the mundane work scoop and stuck in a confined place where I had no one to talk expect eavesdropping on colleagues surrounding my cubicles which keeps me entertained. Yes, very pathetic I know.

School is starting soon, I wish it’s longer. I can already foresee reluctantly waking up before dawn dragging myself out of bed. I will miss afternoon nap and sleeping at wee hours. No commitment of homework and sorts. No deadline to meet. Going out as and when.

But then again, it’s the last semester. When it draws near to graduation, I am sure I will miss school, the freedom as compared to working life, which is if I am not furthering my studies and I will lose my job as a student and I will be jobless, how helpless!

I got to really think hard what I want in life, what great I can accomplish. I suddenly feel so emo with no direction of what I want. I will stop here and stop wasting time emoing. See you guys in/after school =)

UP was totally awesome in my opinion! The plot, the emotional factor and everything. This is by far the nicest ones I ever watched. How to portray it... it’s a mixture of both sad and happy. I can’t believe I had to endure my tears and welling here and there throughout the whole movie! The start is already stirring my soul with the pelican and cloud story.

I am back safe and sound. Shopping was good. If not for the time restriction I would have bought even more stuff back. I wish time had passed slower. Carrot is a new term when we are there.

Don’t appreciate clubbing, seems like noise pollution to me, prefer pub more.

Massage works wonder and I feel I could run 10km after that. The rest agreed.

I feel so tired. It’s like what xt said. Every time holiday is like “pia mia”, I am so deprived of sleep! Next time, shall go somewhere quieter instead to relax and chill.

Warm woollen sock was a must before bedtime. Cereal milk and wanton mee was the flavour combination for breakfast. Nothing can depict the feeling. My heart sinks once again.

Childhood cousins grow up at an astonishing rate that one easily lost grip to. Mahjong session and late night super. Topic diverted. This had bought us closer. Promises to meet up and exchange of the hotmail make our bond stronger.

No one owes you a living. Maybe you need to change your tone and stop acting so demanding. Throwing your tantrum and whining your way through isn’t going to get you what you want. The only thing achieve is letting the people hate and drifting away from you. Think why people don’t want to keep you update till you find out or the very last minute? Is it you or them? I am super envy when I heard yeling and fel’s is coming back to work at a later date. Well, I bet jia ray is more depress than ever!

The final presentation has ended. Now I am still waiting for other assessor to assess us. That marks the end of my FYP. IAP is starting next week and I think I am hardly breathing now.

Been posted to Ednovation for IAP and I think it’s super near to Gen’s work place=) Gen, we can meet for lunch or dinner after work =D Plus the pay is pathetic. I am being paid $460 only. Cheap labour. But compare to jas, I am slightly better. She is being paid the most minimum, $440. Max is $600. See the different! Life sucks.

Everything feels much the same now in Beijing. The architects amaze me first but bored me to death now. It looks all the same here, the ceiling is the same, the roof is the same, and the structure is all the same.

I hate the travelling time spent here. It sucks. One trip to town will take you at least 2 hours to reach. That is equivalent to taking train back and forth twice in Singapore, from one end to the other end.

I can’t wait to go home soon. I am super overloaded with clothes and stuff. Not to mention I overspent. Cross finger when I pack everything in.

There is a list of things I want to do when I get back!
1. Shop and eat at Tampines One with penguin
2. Eat at gluttons. (I super miss local food can!)
3. Eat Jap
4. Meet up with the girls and people
5. Movies treat

The sleepy bug is killing me. I am late for school and the strong urge to skip...perhaps half day away. But it doesn’t seem to make any sense to skip for half, so I had to drag my heavy self out of bed.

I am officially 22 now; blah... it’s time to wiser up and saves. I bet this year is going to be a blast because I will be away from home for 6 weeks to Beijing like real soon! Something that I know I may never get the chance to experience after I leave school.

And not to mention holiday plans for LA which is like a must go before I end my school life. Hong Kong trip with kw if things goes well (don’t bring your bf!), and perhaps a trip back to Malacca to visit my grandma. Not forgetting that hg’s (might be planning) a trip to this don’t know what place in Malaysia before we graduate.

Saleh bought this weighting machine to school which is super cool. It can weight your fats and water percentage, bone mass and BMI. It even tells you your body age after the machine calculate mine is 15, supposedly mean I should be heavier since I am over the puberty age but I am damn proud of it. For what I know I am super healthy with only 1 percent body fats, just that I need to put on more weight which is like the usual. And according to him, my water level is quite good. Not bad for a puny me.

Got this chip from junan who truly knows how to enjoy himself when he is away for Macau while we sit in the fish tank.

Got a card from my teammate, wanman who should be nominated as the blur queen of the year. A girl with a bubbly character.

Dine at ehub. Food was great. The companions were amazing.

Had seafood platter for 2 and meat platter for 2, the combo was too much for us to handle for us 4. Bg joined us much later.

ZZ had the President smile, 总统的微笑. It sort of tasted like vomit. Orange and milk is a very bad combination =X If I am the president, 我笑不出来.

Met up with san and Andrew last Thursday and it was great to get updates from them especially san whom I have not met like super...long! Was a little disappointed that we cannot get to huan, we called and message and no news from her therefore I hate to conclude that she is avoiding us... nope... that is not the facts.

Anyway, had sakae sushi for dinner and thanks guys (san, Andrew, joan and mei) for the present=) I really appreciate it and can’t wait to either let my creativity run or play with it IF time prevail it=D

Penguin and I had a little early celebration at Manhattan yesterday after school. I bet the portion shrink or something. It doesn’t reflect on comments that I get from people that the serving is big. We easily triumphant the platter for 2 without winning a fight! Those who know will understand. I received a watch from him which I kind of eye for a period of time=)

I got a feeling my luggage will be overload giving that the luggage is almost 5kg, a quarter allowances gone just like that. The airline should be merciful since I am so petite and not to mention LIGHT. They should give me privilege for the baggage policy since I am paying the same amount for the ticket as the rest which I know it will never happen. I can already predict the amount of tax I am going to pay which I get back =(

Meeting otl and stef later at ehub for a little pre-birthday dinner for penguin and me as everyone timing is hard to accommodate. But people do meet up soon =)

I am seriously super ecstatic right now! I cannot express how surprise I am to received such a big gift through a delivery man.

Me, in the living room eating dinner and drinking a super cup bubble tea while watching the tv. Then I heard someone pressing the doorbell and I went over and peek at the door hole thinking it might be bg as I am borrowing outer wear from her. Then I saw this man standing there so I thought it was some saleman who wants to promote stuff. Being the obvious as the volume of the tv is super loud, I chose to ignore and pretend I am not at home. I know, super retard. I think the guy sort of knows or maybe get a little impatient called my number.

Delivery man: hello, is this huiling?
Me: yes?
Delivery man: I am now outside your house, I am here to delivery your luggage.
Me: luggage? I never buy any luggage!
Delivery man: Must be your friend bought it for you.
Me: (*Stunned more than shock) Oh ok. (Get key and open the door)
Delivery man: Wow. Your friend is so good!
Me: Yes, they are! (With a wide smile but is still clueless who is it from)

Delivery man was about to leave, I call him back and request a copy of the delivery list, hoping I am find some clue and I was right! Address: The Travel Store, Funan Digitallife Mall.

I don’t even dare to open the luggage wrapper la! Scare it’s a mistake or something =X

I quickly pick up my phone, first number I dialled is bg, never pick up, second number gen, also never pick up (who insist that there is no missed call), third penguin, yet no one pick up, last otl who is the only person available. And I confirm it’s from them=)

I feel so bliss, and fortunate for having them in my life and I cannot thank them enough.

Time does really fly, 10 years of friendship and still counting is not for nothing=) I love you all!

Dine at yuki yaki for bg’s late birthday celebration.

Its seem like gelare now is a tradition now.

My master piece. Mh was interested with the puzzle that he wanted to get his hand on a set of these, will help him get in school later if it’s still available.

I had received my very early present from stef. It’s so sweet of her to cross stitch a piece of work with a very cute plush toy of a penguin representing erhh... penguin. Lol=)

It seems that everyone around has or had been travelling around. For instance, gen was back from KL, mh is going to Taiwan soon and not excluding kw who is going for cruise and she just got back from Hong Kong last month I think. What good life she has. And zz is going to Taiwan too, not for relaxing but for his officer course.

As for me, I haven’t been packing except for putting wanted stuff aside. This is already the 3rd week and I feel that I haven’t progress much for fyp =(

At last, all has ended for this semester. I feel great, more than great actually. I am a happy girl. My heart feels lighter, and I am not amaze at how dramatic my mood change. The spoiler exam during the New Year period and burning midnight oil wasn’t exactly the kind of stuff I handle best.

I am going to gain it all back, all the fun and laughter I missed.

Now I am looking forward to the trip to Beijing. Every bone in me is feeling it! I know very irony.

My room is always in a mess. But this time round it’s even messier than ever. Things are like literally all over the place and on the floor, super irritating to see but lazy to pack. I cannot deny I am an idle worm. Tsk~

Frankly, I miss my girls, haven’t been meeting them for like weeks. But I just can’t seem to find the time, or rather the energy to do so. With the stewardess flying around unpredictably and the other slogging for work. I wonder school life is better or for worst or just plain torture in my stage of life now.

Well, at least I got Christmas to look forward to and hopefully a holiday getaway too which I highly doubt it will proceed as plan. Cross finger** Otl, I doubt it will be cheap =(

Wake up at 7am and skipped school for penguin’s BMT and it’s really as what they portray, eat “guay ben” for lunch. Say pledge loud loud and the place is really like resort. The army boys there are so scary. I feel like I am in Africa desert safari touring in a cage bus. Damn funny, like they never see people from civilization for a long time. Keep waving to us people in the bus -_-‘’

I know u guys call me mad but I envy penguin now lor. Like so fun like that. Outfield training and the bunk like so cosy la. Great living condition for them but the thought of waking up before

the sun rise... How I wish I can go stay there for 2 weeks and ...... yeah yeah...back to earth.

Penguin called and he says he is doing fine. Just that 4th storey isn’t exactly a thing to be happy about but hey lucky you! The toilet is just around the corner... haha! Like you say can “chong” to the toilet and grumpy sleepy bunkmate wouldn’t complain much in the middle of the night.

It will be my first and last for them to earn my money till now... No doubt the food is good but they pile it too much to the extent that when you get about to it, the meat has already turned hard and cold. Still, it’s nice depending on whether you want to spend the effort chewing.

Really have to thank otl for making it. Applying for half-day leave and just burning it like that was a heavy cause in my opinion plus the cost is super steep but I know you also don’t want to reject me right. Haa~ Give face. And not forgetting gen who rush down after work and giving a super black face for let’s say 5 minutes after she arrived because we don’t really know the exact location of our where about plus all the walking for finding us must have make her frustrated and furious but she recover fast after we had seated down and ordered our drinks=)

It’s bad. Really bad. I vomited till I lose count and could feel my stomach rumble. Each rejection of food concludes me back to the toilet bowl again. I had a hard time falling asleep. My head is spinning and my whole body is restless. Twice this year, it hit me. Yes, I am down with stomach flu again. But I am feeling much better now. No worry people. With penguin tlc, I am feeling much now. No more nauseous, headache or stomach.

The food was great but the aftermath of me throwing up like there is no tomorrow makes me want to avoid Korean for awhile. The best part is that we got a room to ourselves. Neat.

Well, I have been eating well but no luck in gaining excess weight. Not even close. Every end of the day after a satisfying crave and good food in, I will stand on the weighting machine; the weird thing is that instead of gaining weight, it drop. Yes, DROP. The more it goes in the more it goes out. You know what I mean. Must be the high metabolism thingy penguin has been talking about. It’s a love hate situation. Blaa.

It’s trilling to know that people have travel and instil knowledge to others. And I am glad that they are enjoying time to the fullest, taking in as much as they can and take pride into it.

Lunch with bg and the very late kawai. The atmosphere was loud in my opinion. Did a bit of shopping here and there and i must say I really got to cut down on my expenses. It’s totally maddening when the amount you spent doesn’t tally with the items you brought. But which girl can resist the temptation? Yeah yeah... living in self-denier.

Lunching at suki sushi is definitely more worth it than sakae. Why? You can order their yellow plate (It’s sort of like the red plate they have it in sakae but yellow for them) ...UNLIMITED! Yes, you seem it right. UNLIMITED(items below 4.90). If you are in for sashimi this is the right place for you. I paid 22buck with my student card which include unlimited fruit drinks, fruits and desert. For big eaten who heart Japanese cuisine, this is a new found heaven for you=D

I saw this red adidas watch at cineleisure city chain outlet. Totally love it at first sight but i think it’s too big for my wrist -_- super nice when you seem it virtually compare to the picture. Still considering whether to get because it cost a whopping 149 bucks......

Life has been wonderful. Good food, great companies, lots of shopping and last of all new knowledge instil =D

Woke up damn early in the morning and head down to Somerset and meet up with jy to attend a workshop by Ettusais. Hmm... i shall say i take home about 40% of knowledge with me. But the best part is that I think i have found the CORRECT facial wash. *Yeah! Jumping around like a little girl*

Friends shall know that my skin complexion has worsened for the past few months. I got scare sometimes when i wake up in the morning with spots of red patches on my face. Scary. Even mummy asks me to go see a doctor if there is no improvement.

Ok, back to the point. The workshop is supposedly to end at 12.30 but drag to about 1.15. ohh ohh~~did i mention they give a lot of products? Super generous i must say, can last for about a week! 30 bucks and is totally redeemable for products. Awesome!

TIP:
By the way girls, when you are choosing a blushing, NEVER use your finger to try! It’s because our hand contain moisture and when you dub, you only carry the colour not the shimmer of the powder therefore it will not show its true potential colour. Best is to use cotton pad. If not, tissue will do =)

Then lunch at the Food Republic with ht who came to lookup for jy. Throughout the lunch, there is no moment where i can stop laughing. Off to Ettusais counter to spend our 30buck voucher.

This product really covers pimple, scars and blemish really well. Giving skin a flawless look when covered with foundation. The best part is that it control oil and contain SPF 12 PA+ in it. For hygiene purpose, it has a special spatula instead of our normal brush for application.

Another best buy in the list, credit to bg who recommend this. Imagine spending your money at the beauty parlor for half leg waxing which can cost as much as 25 bucks per service. Nope! It’s not going to happening anymore! Sugaring solution + spatula + cotton strip = <25 bucks (w/ membership). Cheap right! 200ml some more, all natural free ingredient. I reckon can do up to 5 times or more for my case though it can be quite messy in my opinion but definitely worth it=)

I think sometimes life is much easier with lesser options.

The weather is bad. My throat hurts a little. I can foresee myself doing nothing the whole day but just glued to the computer. Borrowed two books for gen, two unread ones from border sales, bought 2 Nicholas Sparks books. Neat! A total of 6 books plus I am going to re-read all my harry potter. This shall keep me busy for awhile and go green at home =P

It’s been so long since we all 3 unite=D we meet up for 2 days in a row! These days are rare I can tell you. Nothing beats the good get together sessions ;P

First day, went to gen’s new place. Quite spacious I must say. Had a quick lunch and head off to sim lin square.

No wonder they are call cats. They can just sleep anywhere!

Did a little shopping at Bugis Street and bump into minghuat and girlfriend. The whole scenario is like super hilarious. Well, he does have the potential to become a salesman =P

Second day, initial plan was to go to Fort Canning Park movie trip but give it a miss and head off to ikea and then back to gen’s place. Had fun pulling out all the drawers and “kpoing” what is inside. Chill and laugh at how nerdy we look while we flip through our old photos, played monopoly till almost 11.45pm then we left her house.

I was actually impressed with myself for doing the paper real fast today ;) 40 minutes plus checking and all. First to go, leaving mei almost abandon her last section but she did the most rational choice. Junan, you could have maintain your record if you are not dishy washy=P
Common test have already come to an end for most of us. But project are still in the mid of progressing… not even near to 30%. Hais~ my days of nightmare will last till the end of this semester.

All I have left is anticipate of collecting 150buck from the tax rebate and September holiday, PLEASE COME FASTER!!!

Although coffee session was a short one but we did manage to catch up quite a bit more than expected=) we rekindle memories in secondary school. Where only kawai and I would always point out our disagreements towards each other during those days then bg and jy would always without fail be the peace maker and all. How we manage to sit together in the canteen although we are in cold war, you facing me and me facing you. Lol~ those were the days, where everything was so much simpler.

I see the changes around them, some good and bad. Well, we can’t always have the good without some sacrifices. But some is truly beyond our control…

Then, we had dinner at v8 and I totally agree with kw that it has been certainly long since I been there, secondary school days perhaps. Off to Bugis Street to shop. Manage to get something I want and I certainly earn my fair share of good bargain. Last stop starbucks at tampines=)

I had been busy lately. With all the work pile up and little time to breath, I thought I had forgotten how freedom smells like. =(

Watch Kung fu panda with penguin and bg on sat at downtown Cathay. The whole thing was great minus off the children’s constant whining and questioning. I love the master shifu part. Damn wacky la its expression!

Then penguin left for home and we girls do some of the shopping. I had my fair share of shopping but bg always, and without fail win hands down ;) then otl came over and chat for awhile and left to meet his friend at compass point.

GREAT SINGAPORE SALE!! What is there not to like? Sale is everywhere, sad to say I didn’t manage to get anything. All the while was penguin doing his shopping. Should keep it to the last part what he bought other than his stuffs.

Dine at Le Meridien Hotel Singapore which I think is not really worthwhile. The varieties they have are so limited that 3 rounds I can eat it all. But thumbs up for the bbq baby lobsters. Nice!

First time to Arab Street, and we are not there to shop but to…smoke shisha aka water pipe smoke. I think we walk up and down the street just to find the magic carpet. Lol.

It’s also my first unofficial smoking experience. At the start we only order 1 shisha, apple flavour (14 bucks each). It smells/taste (I can’t decide which) like those pink color pack cigarette, super yucky. So we order the second one, menthol. This one I like! Very cooling.

Is shisha more harmful then cigarette? I really don’t know?

All in all, you can smoke until you go bonkers it just doesn’t seems to finish =S

My tears line has been extremely active lately, must be my hormones raging.

My heart goes out to go all people dying in China and Myanmar. I can feel my tears at the brim of my eyes just by watching people die in the show. Not to mention when I attend bg’s graduation. I feel like a mother and have never felt any prouder that I keep holding back my tears when they play their slides, in fear that gen will found out. Lucky for me the auditorium is dim. It was a touching moment that far more surpass when I know I can get into poly.

The whole thing is enriching I shall say minis off the food which isn’t that fantastic…OopS=8 but it is an eye opener to the fact that I have not taken SQ flight before=(

Pretty flowers and Eeyore. Glad she likes it. She even mentions that after we had left, all her batch mates were busying taking shots with it and claim that we are sweet (indeed we are=))

Gen follows me back to school and wait 2 hours for me which I totally appreciate it. Then meet up with jojo in school for awhile and caught a glimpse of him in his graduation robe. Neat.

Then we both head off to city hall by bus 70 (it’s a long and terrible journey which took us almost an hour plus!) and we hang around and waited for the bg for dinner.

And we also bought a graduation bear from school to replace her lost of not attending the NYP’s graduation.

I had received 2 belts from bg from her Beijing trip and a chocolate bar from Seoul for penguin. Thanks gal=)

Sentosa trip was fun fun fun!!! Outing with the regulars for cycling trip=)

The guys plan it and guess what? They go and rent a van. Not those good ones you know. It’s the lok kok kind -_-“(I think they also got shock at the condition when they go collect but they claim that it’s the last one) but consider the fact that it run on diesel and can carry a total of 9 of us, so we try not to be picky=P

Driving duty is divided into 2 sessions. To was penguin’s job to pick up all of us and head to sentosa. Back was zhicong’s job.

Yes! We took the escalator. How convenience yeah! No doubt the tourists are amused.

Its super hilarious la, couple 1 and 2 had the privilege of choosing the twin bicycle first. So they pick a visually new bicycle and poor penguin and me got to pick a visually very poor bicycle. Throughout the first 20 minutes of the journey we are required to cycle uphill that they realize they had chosen the wrong bicycle. Why? Because the bicycle doesn’t have gears! Penguin was laughing his ass off say “No use choosing a good looking bicycle when it cannot perform for you!” with a hint of weird accent.So we cycle back to the bicycle shop and they change to our kind of bicycle. (If you scroll upwards, you can see from the picture that the twin couple bicycle got 2 colors. The red and blue one.)

A post and early birthday celebration for Andrew and me=)
We had late lunch shokudo at raffles place “again”. Too bad san couldn’t make it=(
Roam about suntec while Andrew went to meet up with his mum and aunt for a short while before meeting us back again.

Then dinner at soup restaurant at compass point branch.

It’s actually good to meet up with friends just to catch up and talk. Nice=P

It’s absolutely cool to take the SINGAPORE FLYER plus bg SIA card can get 25% off!!! Awesome right!! Which means we only paid 22.12 instead of 30 bucks! Happy~

And we each bought a copy of photo we took. First copy is 15 bucks, subsequent one are 10 bucks. Consider expensive but as the picture we took inside is damn blur la, some more got our pretty face. LOL~ of course must buy.

We are so lucky. There are only us and another old couple in the capsule to our self and the ride is 30mins. Maybe it’s because the IR resort is not up yet so the view or scenery is kind of predicted.

I am so lazy right now. Let the picture do the talking=)

It’s so frustrating, can’t capture a clear photo with the scenery. Its either you can see the face but not the scenery or the scenery but blur pixel. Anyone can help?! It’s super annoying.

5th April

Had a mini due celebration from gen and bg. Let picture do the saying.

It’s sort of like Mache but its Japanese style. Their foods are good, will definitely go back again.

I reckon you not to waste your money on their neo-print machine. It’s utterly useless (referring to the machine) and a waste of time. First trial, already done with the decor and selection, the machine read “error”. Second trial, retake again, décor and select. “Error” again. WTH! We like practically wasted about an hour (according to bg) there!

After day shop around suntec for jy’s present.

The chalet was a well organize one and I had so much fun man! Meeting with old pals and familiar face brings back lots of memory. The best part is that everyone can mingle with anyone. LOL~

It’s really good that after so many years we are still able to clique and laugh our ass off and I think we are the loudest there! I mean among the entire birthday girl’s friend. No offense jy, but it felt like it’s our class chalet lor! Haha~

Fun is not enough to describe.

Genting trip…

The journey there was a pleasant one. With LCD screen which features 7 different channel, adjustable leg rest and massage sit, I don’t see the reason why I should hate it. But due to insufficient sleep the day before, ¾ of the time I am dozing off and on.

Throughout the 3 night of the stay, it really freaks me out man. Some already know the reason so I will not elaborate more here. It really gives me the creep.

The weather was so chilled that the fan is so redundant there.

First morning was so exciting, know why? Lol! Not only was it my birthday, there was a bird nest right outside my window! Nice arh! Like it’s a good omen or something and we can judge that there is an egg inside the nest because every time we went to check out whether it was there a not its position never change.

We had like chicken everyday and it taste so funky. Like its been fed with cheap chickenfeed or things like that.

Well, there is practically nothing much to shop. (No doubt we kept visiting the same shop every day.)

Then when the clock strikes 12am we are off to the casino. I really have no idea how those auntie and uncle can sit in front of the jackpot machine the whole day long with chances so little to prosper. By the way, each time both penguin and me enter the casino, they are so engross with us when we handed them our passport (We are just one day different you see). Telling us a lot which we can’t understand because it’s in malay and we just smile our way through. Of all game I like bingo best.

Oh oh!! I went to Ripley’s believe it or not museum. It’s like super creepy la. Didn’t really take a lot of picture there. Scare will get bad luck or something.

Well, other than that we virtually slept through till almost till noon everyday and slack around. Outdoor theme park was out since penguin can’s play most of it anyway.

No 3.4th April

Had attended fel’s 18th birthday, happy birthday to you.

After that had met up with otl, mh and zz at downtown east mac to slack from 11 till 6 in the morning!

We talk a lot of rubbish which is no less than common sense and I think we are the noisiest there. LOL=P

Plans, we always have plan but we some how cannot fulfil them as we get older. I realise if you are suppose to chose between time and money, what would you chose. I know people tend to say time is money but what if you can chose only one? Time or money? Hard isn’t it. It’s up to one to decide and weight.

Back to the point, we were actually asking zz whether he can have his fyp for us to view which is film in our secondary school. Cool isn’t it! Zz was telling us he had to borrow our uniform from the school and how big size they were that the girls got to roll their skirt up (because its way too long) that form a big lump of excess.

Just then, we have derived to the question…”Do you still have your secondary uniform?”

me: nope.

mh: what?! You all never keep for memento?

otl + zz: we also never keep!

mh’s surprise tone: why never keep? Got so much memory. (Something of that sort)

otl: …I think I can still find it somewhere in the house. Maybe became my rug already.

me: of course throw la. White colour leh! This time round I will get more fitting ones. Don’t know why in our days we wear so big for what? Plus our pe short so comfy.

mh: ya lor, I wear it to sleep de leh.

zz: … it wouldn’t be the same right? Feel so new. (Referring to the uniform)

me: then I will wear it to sleep everyday lor! Plus here and there it’s the same la.

mh: how come we don’t have uniform party arh?

me: ya lor! Those ang moh countries always got this reunion party after they graduate for like 10 years. How come we don’t have? A uniform reunion would be fun!

A short and fun trip I must say. Shopping was heaven but I only manage to get only a handful.

FOOD, GLORIOUS FOOD! The prawn I tell… FRESH! So big and chewy, and the thing is that it’s all very cheap!

But then the weather was damn humid man! It’s even hotter than Singapore. Temperature range from 30-34 degree! No wonder the people there look so tanned up.

Join this half day tour that brings us to two locations for sightseeing. The floating market and temple tour to see the pagodas.

The floating market was kind of a disappointment. According to the tour guide, most of the vender (the so call sampan boat) is shifted up to land to give way to development therefore there isn’t pretty much to see and experience the trade of Asia Venice.

This caught my eyes and I decide to get it at a very cheap reasonable price. For 20 sing dollar only! Don’t ask me if I can play it or not because that isn’t the main purpose of buying=)

Then the coach bought us to this handicraft store where teak wood furniture is hand craft so meticulously refine.

Before stepping in, they issue us a 10 percent discount card each for our purchase. The thing is, all the stuff there is unaffordable! The cheapest is 5000 US dollar and above=( no doubt there are smaller items to purchase but it is still consider expensive you see. The card is totally redundant. You can see all the ang mohs busy clicking their camera away.

Did I mention the half the passenger for the tour is ang moh too!

Last stop, the pagodas temple.

I am practically standing in the shelter most of the time. I just cannot stand the heat that is scorching my skin.

For the rest of the trip, it’s mostly shop and eats, eat and shop.

Will be going back to Thailand again, no doubt! A land of smiles=)

I just feel kind of weird that we are all indeed growing up, in a good way of course. But it sorts of make me worry and start thinking about what I want to do after academic and what would be best for me. I envy bg for what she is doing now, so firm about her decision and all, glad she is doing well=) I suddenly have a lot in my mind. Well, i always believe that god gives you one thing and take away another. That’s makes each and everyone one of us unique, different and yet special in our own little way. Went to the briefing for the furniture expedition which will be held at expo from 9th – 12th. Apparently the days that the guys are working are different from us. 7bucks an hour, 9 hours a day.

Been out shopping with penguin, mr muscle and our newly appointed ultimate love bird to town for some cny shopping.

Well, guys are always guys. They sure have no sense of urgency. Last minute then go shop for clothes. Cong damn hilarious la. G2000 clothes are way too small for him. So instead he bought Docker, a US brand. The biggest size they have some more.

I don’t get these people. Will you get a polo t for about 75 bucks? OMG! They are f***** lavish. Ok the story goes like this. We were actually heading to topman then on our way there we say this queue to get into lacoste. GOSH! LACOSTE! It’s not even channel or LV for god sake! With the big board that that says 50% off on 2nd piece, limit to 2 per customer and it’s only for polo t. So xt ultimate reaction was to persuade us into queuing. Ok fine, because we hardly queue for 5 minutes. The first react for us is to look at the tag. Obviously we got to know the price right? How come can attract so many people into buying. One flip… 100 bucks. Faint*and it’s the normal polo where u can get at Giordano. Only cong and xt bought. Individual mindset is different. For me I can better do with the money. Bags, shoes, tops…

Guess what? I saw andy and the gf when we were leaving topman. Must be him himself is also doing his last minute shopping.=D

After much complains with the guys saying they had” step on lemon.” We head back to tampines. Walk all the way back to cong’s place and get his father’s car.

We had bak cho mee for supper somewhere near enous I think. Don’t know exactly where the place is. Then dessert at hong kong café. The guys can really eat. Each had thick toast… the amount of honey they put I swear that anyone can get diabetics. The about 1 plus go to xt house and slack till 4.30 this morning.

I am super tired right now. And my mom had cheated me saying its already 3 and I crawl out of bed to bath and everything cause reunion dinner starts at 0530… blaa. After bathing then I know it’s just 1 plus. How deceiving is that? Cheat my extra hour of beauty sleep=((( the time is now 3. Got to go prepare. Can’t wait to see tamtam=)
